Handmade Aircraft Covers:
Makhanda Community Project
The Grahamstown Flying Club (FAGT) is proud to support a small community initiative connecting the aviation community with local seamstresses in Makhanda.
Working together with our Club, local seamstresses have produced a prototype aircraft cover for a Sling TSi, designed to protect aircraft while incorporating distinctive Shweshwe fabric detailing.
The result is a practical aviation product that also showcases local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
